Heavy Cotton Tabard Surcoat (Various Colour Combinations)

One size fits all - various colour combinations available. 

This sleeveless jerkin consists of front and back pieces with a hole for the head. It's heavy cotton, so the cloth hangs nicely and looks authentic - it's not thin, synthetic and wispy, like many sold elsewhere. The surcoat had a variety of uses, primarily it served as a uniform, but it also served as a protective layer over armour to shield against dampness helping to prevent rust, furthermore, in hotter weather it would shield the metal against sunlight which could heat the armour causing discomfort for the wearer.
